Christian Pulisic has declared himself fit and ready to fire Chelsea to a thrilling end to the season.

The USA winger has hit a rich vein of form – scoring three times in his last two Premier League starts, including a double in Saturday’s 4-1 win at Crystal Palace.

After suffering with hamstring and muscle problems over the last two seasons, he is back to full fitness to help Chelsea battle on three fronts.

On Tuesday he is hoping to keep his place as Thomas Tuchel’s side look to reach the semi-finals of the Champions League by seeing off FC Porto in Seville.

They lead 2-0 after the first leg of their quarter-final tie.

Chelsea then face Manchester City in the semi-finals of the FA Cup and are in a tense fight for a top-four finish in the Premier League.

So Pulisic’s return to fitness and form has come at the perfect time for Tuchel.

He said: “Personally I am feeling very good. I am happy to be playing and helping the team whichever way I can. It was nice to get on the scoresheet and I am feeling very strong at the moment.

“It has not been an easy season. There has been a lot of coming in and coming out and injuries, but I’m feeling healthy and strong right now.

“There are some really big games going up. But we are just taking it game by game.

“I am doing my best to take care of myself. I have got to take care of my body and be strong and healthy for all the games.”

Saturday was Chelsea’s biggest win under Tuchel, with Pulisic forming a lethal attack alongside Kai Havertz and Mason Mount. It was the first time they have scored more than twice in a game since the German took charge in January.

“We clicked very well,” added Pulisic. “We were able to finish our chances early, which was important and helped get us through the game. We could have been even more clinical.”
