Chelsea next transfer confirmed after Michael Olise decision

Chelsea have reportedly sealed a deal for Willian Estevao from Palmeiras after signing their share of documents to complete the transfer.

Estevao, 17, cannot join until his next birthday in late April and will seemingly link up with the team next summer after the Club World Cup in the United States. Until then, the Brazil youth international will continue to play for Palmeiras, adding to his 23 appearances.

That is despite only debuting for the first team in early December last year. Coming on as a substitute against his former club, Cruzeiro, Estevao became the fourth youngest player in Palmeiras' history.

Fabrizio Romano reports that the club can earn an additional £5m in add-ons on top of the £29m initial transfer fee based on his remaining time in Brazil. Palmeiras are also said to make another £14m should Estevao spend multiple seasons as a starter once at Stamford Bridge. Then there is a further £3m in bonuses that could take Chelsea's total outlay as high as £52m. Romano claims that one of those depends on Estevao winning the Ballon d'Or over the next nine years. The winger will seemingly sign a contract until 2033.

Estevao will arrive around the same time when Kendry Paez leaves Ecuador and Independiente del Valle for west London. They will be the latest incoming from South America after the signings of Andrey Santos, Angelo Gabriel and Deivid Washington over recent transfer windows.

football.london also understands that Chelsea are close to an agreement with another talented teenager from closer to home this summer. Aston Villa attacking midfielder Omari Kellyman is the subject of talks this month that are at an advanced stage. Villa values the Derby County academy graduate at £20m and has already shown their willingness to cash in on young players by sanctioning the sale of Tim Iroegbunam this weekend for half what they are asking of Chelsea for Kellyman.
