Chelsea XI vs Aston Villa: Starting lineup, confirmed team news, injury latest for FA Cup replay today

An under-fire Mauricio Pochettino remains without eight Chelsea players for a midweek FA Cup trip to Aston Villa as he bids to turn around a dismal run of form.

The trip to Villa Park is a fourth-round replay after the two teams played out a 0-0 draw at Stamford Bridge at the end of January.

Levi Colwill, Reece James, Marc Cucurella, Trevoh Chalobah, Robert Sanchez, Wesley Fofana, Lesley Ugochukwu and Romeo Lavia are all out injured for the Blues.

Colwill and Chalobah are closing in on their returns and may be fit to face Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park in the Premier League on Monday.

Christopher Nkunku, Nicolas Jackson and Ben Chilwell are among the players recently returning from injury, with Pochettino's fitness problems now easing.

Pochettino does not look to have gone with a back three tonight, as was expected to be the case.

Goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic continues in front of what looks like a four-man defence, with Axel Disasi, Benoit Badiashile, Malo Gusto and Chilwell.

Enzo Fernandez, Conor Gallagher and Moises Caicedo are in midfield, with Noni Madueke joining Cole Palmer and Jackson in attack.

It’s three changes in total from the Wolves game as Badiashile, Madueke and Jackson replace Thiago Silva, Raheem Sterling and Christopher Nkunku, who is on the bench.
