College World Series winners by year: List of recent baseball national champions

The annual Men's College World Series in Omaha, Neb. is one of the most popular events in college sports, with fans from around the country traveling for baseball's national championship.

USC's 12 national titles are the most of any school, most recently back in 1998. LSU (7), Texas (6) and Arizona State (5) are the only other teams to win the College World Series at least five times.

The SEC has been dominant in recent years, and in 2024 will have its sixth national champion from the conference in the past seven editions of the College World Series.

Who won the 2023 College World Series?

LSU defeated Florida in three games to win the 2023 College World Series for the school's seventh national baseball championship.

LSU's Paul Skenes (Pirates) and Dylan Crews (Nationals) were then selected with the top two picks in the 2023 MLB draft.
