Trinbago Knight Riders captain Kieron Pollard took social distancing to a whole new level as he walked near the 30-year circle in protest of a terrible umpiring decision during his team’s match against the St. Lucia Kings in the ongoing Caribbean Premier League (CPL 2021).

The incident happened during the 19th over of the Trinbago Knight Riders innings when St Lucia Kings’ bowler Wahab Riaz bowled a wide ball. The batsman on strike, Tim Seifert struggled to reach the ball and even fell over in the process of doing so, as the ball was extremely wide.

However, the umpire didn’t signal a wide, leaving both Tim Seifert and captain Kieron Pollard was visibly unhappy with the call. While the former did not have any other choice but to accept it, the latter decided to protest.
