“Cristiano Ronaldo Joined Manchester United To Meet Virat Kohli” – Shubman Gill

Social media is buzzing with speculations about Indian skipper Virat Kohli and Footballer Cristiano Ronaldo meeting each other later this week in England.

Virat Kohli is in Manchester with the team for the fifth test match against England. Coincidently, Cristiano Ronaldo is also training in the same city, after returning to his old club Manchester United after 12 years. The fans of both the stalwarts are excited about the chances of seeing their idols together.

India’s opening batsman, Shubman Gill has also shared his “underrated opinion” on Twitter. He joked that Ronaldo returned to playing for Manchester United to meet the Indian skipper Virat Kohli.

“Underrated opinion: @Cristiano joined Manchester United to meet @imVkohli bhai #ifyouknowyouknow,” Gill tweeted.

Earlier, the Lancashire Cricket social media tweeted about both the Legends being in Manchester. They wrote, “At this moment in Manchester @imVkohli @Cristiano. Fancy a joint training session at @EmiratesOT to #BreaktheInternet? #ENGvIND @ManUtd”

The Manchester United Club replied to the post, commenting, “One city, two GOATs”

Former England cricketer Michael Vaughan has stated that the fifth might be the final time that James Anderson and Virat Kohli will face each other on a cricket field. The rivalry between the duo goes back to 2014 when Anderson had the better of Kohli. However, the Indian skipper dominated the pacer on the 2018 tour.

Speaking on the Cricbuzz Chatter, Vaughan said,

“I think this is going to be the last time these two great players will go after each other. It’s been an incredible contest for over many, many years. The last three times in England, Jimmy had him the first time and then Virat bounced back, and then in this series, it’s been a little bit 50-50 – Virat not getting the big score but in the last two Tests he has started to play nicely… I can’t imagine Jimmy running in and bowling 80-odd miles an hour when India next play England. So let’s enjoy these next few days. I honestly hope that Jimmy gets the final laugh, that final skilled moment.”
