Davey Grant vs. Roland Delorme Fight Pulled from UFC London Fight Card

Although Davey Grant hit the mark at the UFC Fight Night 37 weigh-ins on Friday, his fight has been pulled from the card.

UFC officials on Friday announced that Grant’s fight with Roland Delorme had become a late casualty due to an injury to the Brit.

While UFC officials didn’t reveal the nature of Grant’s injury, The Telegraph reported that an MRI revealed he had a torn meniscus that he suffered in training about three days prior to weigh-ins.

“I'm devastated. The doctor said there was no way I could fight,” Grant told Telegraph Sport.

Although the fight was eventually cancelled on Friday, Grant and Delorme made weight and will each receive his fight purse.

The UFC London fight card will move forward with nine bouts, five prelims and four main card bouts, all via the UFC Fight Pass platform.
