Andy Murray may have perhaps played slightly in the shadow of Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic and Rafa Nadal during his career, but for Team GB, he's the top man, and we have data to prove it.

DAVIS CUP: It's official, Great Britain are a one man team

All have won Davis Cups during that period, but, providing he carries Team GB over the line in Belgium, none can claim to have been so integral to their nation’s triumphs as the man from Dunblane.

Bwin have analysed the record of past Davis Cup-winning teams' highest-ranked players over the preceding decade, we've calculated their records compared to the records of their teammates to ascertain whether they ace the one-man team label.

They've found Murray's teammates have won easily the lowest percentage of matches of any supporting cast behind a nation's top-ranked player ever at just 14%.

Even more remarkably Murray is responsible for 89% of Team GB's total team wins – only Ivan Ljubicic for Croatia in 2005 comes anywhere close - and that was only 73%.

Murray has a 100% record in the competition, after more matches than any other 'main man' in the previous decade.
