Delhi men's lacrosse remains perfect with 14-6 win

Mar. 11—The SUNY Delhi men's lacrosse team remained undefeated with a 14-6 home win over Marywood Saturday.

Chris Lazazzaro led the Broncos with five goals while Benjamin Moscatiello, Joe Anfuso and Jackson Murphy each scored twice and Kyle Brogan, Jagger Beachak and Anthony Ferrato scored in the win.

Beachak added five assists while Mike Triolo tallied 10 saves for Delhi.

Delhi improves to 5-0 and will visit SUNY New Paltz Wednesday.

Stevens 22, SUNY Oneonta 7 (Saturday)

SUNY Oneonta fell to nationally-ranked Stevens 22-7 on the road Saturday.

Eric Nicholson scored three goals and had two assists while Jamie O'Neal and Thomas Hnis each scored twice in the loss.

Harrison Boukas tallied 19 saves for the Red Dragons.

Oneonta falls to 3-2 and will visit Bridgewater Wednesday.

WOMEN'S LACROSSE

Hartwick 18, SUNY Canton 7 (Saturday)

The Hartwick women's lacrosse team took a 10-2 lead into halftime and never looked back in an 18-7 win over SUNY Canton at home Saturday.

Kara Anderson led the Hawks with five goals while Elle Stringer and Claudia Pollaro each tallied three goals, Kristen Vaccarelli and Emily Madigan each scored two goals and Hanna Goodreau, Jammie Decker and Gwen Cox all scored in the win.

Brooke Lynette and Alexa Patrakis had five and three saves, respectively for the Hawks.

Hartwick improves to 2-1 and will visit Skidmore Friday.

SUNY Oneonta was unable to recover from an early deficit and fell to Clarkson 19-9 Saturday on the road.

Marissa Evans and Lauren Mancini each scored three goals while Margaret Byrne added two and Ellie Downey scored once in the loss.

Julia Hawkins had one save while Courtney Gallagher tallied six saves for the Red Dragons.

Oneonta falls to 0-3 and will visit St. Joseph's Wednesday.
