Dergview Reserves and Augher Stars’ Mulhern Cup semi-final clash will go ahead tomorrow night (Wednesday) despite the Fermanagh and Western meeting last night (Monday) to discuss a complaint from Kesh after their quarter-final loss to Dergview.

Dergview defeated Kesh 2-1 last week at Ferney after goals from Sam Sproule and Stuart Mortland gave them a 2-0 lead before a Gary Henderson penalty made it 2-1.

Kesh sent a letter to the F&W suggesting Dergview had fielded an ineligible player in an earlier Mulhern Cup fixture.

However, after meeting last night the F&W ruled too much time had elapsed since the game in question so no further action was taken.

Dergview will go on to face Augher Stars in Ballinamallard on Wednesday night after Augher defeated Orchard Farm 5-3 in their quarter-final.

If Dergview had been found guilty of fielding an ineligible player, Augher would have received a pass into the final.

Tummery Athletic await the winners in the Mulhern final after defeating Enniskillen Rangers on penalties last Wednesday night.
