Diogo Jota has compared his finishing ability with Cristiano Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes - as well as some of his Liverpool teammates.

Jota is currently with the Portugal national team preparing for Euro 2024. The tournament begins this Friday where hosts Germany will face Scotland, while Portugal will face Czechia next Tuesday in their first fixture of the competition.

Liverpool have several players set to feature at Euro 2024 this summer, and Jota will hope that he can bring silverware back to his home country before returning for pre-season training. Jota will be working alongside new Reds head coach Arne Slot this summer, with pre-season getting underway next month.

Ahead of the tournament, Jota took part in an interview with Goal where he was asked to rank his own finishing abilities compared to his teammates for club and country. The Liverpool No.20 gave very different answers to both questions.

When asked to rank his finishing compared to Ronaldo and Fernandes, Jota put himself last on the list. Jota named Al Nassr star Ronaldo first while Manchester United captain Fernandes was named second.

The interviewer told Jota about the quality of his left and right feet for finishing. Jota replied by saying, "Yeah, but they have as well!"

Jota was also asked to rank his finishing abilities against two of his Liverpool teammates. The interviewer asked Jota to rank himself compared to Mohamed Salah and Darwin Nunez - this time, Jota put himself first on the list with Salah second and Nunez last in third.

Last season saw Jota spend a large portion of the campaign on the sidelines through injury. Despite this, the Portugal international was still able to score 15 goals and 19 total goal involvements in 32 appearances in all competitions in Jurgen Klopp's final season as manager at Anfield.
