El Hadji Diouf has launched an incredible attack on former Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard and his former club 24 hours after the ex-England skipper revealed how much he disliked the Senegal striker

Diouf: Gerrard hates black people and Liverpool hate black non-English players

Steven Gerrard hates all black people and Liverpool doesn’t accept black players unless they are English.

That’s the startling claim of former Reds forward El Hadji Diouf who has responded with all guns blazing to Gerrard’s criticism of him in biography.

Diouf spent three years at Anfield alongside Gerrard from 2002 and the former skipper revealed the Senegal star cared nothing for football or the club and that he was the one player he genuinely dislikes and has no respect for.

Diouf, 34, however, hit back at "racist" Gerrard during a radio interval in his homeland on Le10 Sport, sneering that the ex-England star could not even look him in the eye.

He said: “It’s common knowledge. Gerrard has never liked black people. When I was at Liverpool, I showed him I was black, that I wasn’t English, but that I’m no pushover.

“All the time I was there, he never dared looked me in the eye.

“We all saw how he made life difficult for Mario Balotelli at Liverpool. I warned him. Liverpool isn’t a team that accepts black people unless they are English.”

Diouf rounded off his verbal attack by concluding that Gerrard is simply jealous of what he has achieved as a player.
