Pakistan wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan had rejected the talks of favouritism and differences in the Pakistan side and stated them to be completely baseless. Rizwan has been in the form in his life in all formats for his country and has been a consistent run-scorer apart from Babar Azam.

He led his PSL team Multan Sultans to a title win this year and was subsequently appointed as the vice-captain of the side in all formats. He was rewarded with a Grade A contract as well and he looks like a player to watch out for in the upcoming T20 Worldcup from the Pakistan side. Off late, there has been talks of Pakistan’ captain and coach not in the same frame of mind, and Rizwan had his say towards it.

Mohammad Rizwan Feels The Rumours Are Totally Baseless

Mohammad Rizwan declined the rumours of any differences inside the team’s dressing room among the coach and the captain and admitted that it is very important for them to be aligned on the same page. He added that the rumours of the division inside the team are baseless without any proof. The allegations developed after Pakistan pacer Junaid Khan revealing that the team has tried to give more opportunities to players they are close with.

“It is important for everyone involved to be on the same page. I don’t think there is any division on that front in our team. These rumours are totally baseless about favouritism,” Mohammad Rizwan told in the pre-conference ahead of the second Test against West Indies.
