Emmerdale unveils another secret over Claudette's arrival
Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Tonight's (June 9) episode of Emmerdale revealed the full truth about Claudette's arrival in the village following her estranged husband Victor's release from prison.
Last night's episode saw Charles Anderson come face to face with his father Victor for the first time since his time inside a high-security facility, leaving the vicar feeling short-tempered with his family.
Following a tense morning at the Andersons', Manpreet quizzed Charles on his recent foul moods, with the vicar saying he was struggling to adjust to having Claudette in the house.
"Life's full of hurdles we should know that by know," Manpreet reassured him.
"Lets just hope that's the last one for a while," Charles replied.

However, the truth about his father was soon revealed after Victor decided to pay a visit to the village, interrupting a heartfelt moment between Charles and Claudette.
Victor demanded his son hear him out, but his arrival proved to be too much for a visibly upset Claudette, who fled the confrontation.
Later on, Charles explained to his mother that he'd been aware of Victor's release but had warned him to keep away from the village and her. Claudette then revealed she hadn't been homeless after all and her real reason for staying with Charles was due to her husband's impending release.
"I couldn't face it, him turning up and wearing me down. I'm sorry," she said.
"He'll be back with all kinds of trouble, all because he knows I can't stand up to him."

But Victor refused to give up on seeing his son, arriving back in the village once more and bumping into an unimpressed Charles.
"I told you on the phone, I don't want you turning up here... Mum's in tears because of you," Charles warned.
Will this be the last we'll see of Victor?
