Emmerdale's Chloe fights for Mackenzie in latest episode

Emmerdale spoilers follow.

Chloe Harris has no intention to give up on a future with Mackenzie Boyd in new scenes on Emmerdale.

In tonight's (June 1) episode, Chloe opened up to Amy Wyatt about wanting to pursue Mack. Their one-night stand, which resulted in her getting pregnant with baby Reuben, was exposed in earlier episodes, jeopardising Mack's relationship with his now wife Charity Dingle.

When Amy noted that Mack is still "completely smitten with Charity", Chloe didn't listen and seemed determined to find a way.

Meanwhile, Mack was trying to find a way back into Charity and Moses' lives.

After meeting them at the playground, the former couple spent time together, with Mack and the boy bonding and a hesitant Charity considering including him in her son's birthday plans.

Talking to Chas (Lucy Pargeter), Charity was adamant not to prevent Moses from seeing Mack, who he sees as a father figure — no matter how much she's hurt from the betrayal.

Mack's hopes of softening Charity came to an abrupt halt when Chloe asked to meet up urgently. Ignoring Amy's advice to stay away, Chloe told Mack she had feelings for him and wanted them to be together after she recently leaned in for a kiss.

"I know that this is a mess but I had to let you know how I feel," she told him.

Mack was blindsided by Chloe's speech, telling her he loved Charity, but he didn't shut down her idea of being a family completely. Is there still hope for Charity and Mack? Or will he choose to make a go of things with Chloe?

Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
