In an upcoming episode, Mack continues to reassure Chloe that he's over his wife, Charity, and offers to spend the day with her to have some quality time together.

After their romantic day trip, Mack and Chloe find their feelings for each other growing and they head upstairs together.

It seems that Mack has finally embraced the situation, and Chloe is delighted that he has decided to commit and invest his time and energy into their blossoming relationship.

However, Chloe becomes anxious when Mack is reluctant to tell Charity that they are together, as she wonders if he still has feelings for her.

Later in The Woolpack, Charity and Mack have an argument and it quickly descends into chaos, as she reveals that she slept with Caleb.

Mack becomes jealous and angry as he squares up to Caleb and appears to show where his true feelings lie.

Chloe is devastated by Mack's reaction and gives him an ultimatum; he has to choose whether he wants to be with Chloe or Charity. But what will Mack decide?

It comes as Emmerdale bosses have confirmed that Caleb's time causing havoc on the soap is almost at an end, as he will be pushed off a woodland ridge next week.

After these events, it seems Mack could have a motive for murder, but so could Leyla after he tried to win her over to get to Home Farm. His brother Cain is also a suspect after Caleb tried to sabotage Moira's farm, whilst Will Taylor is angry over his actions towards wife Kim Tate.

Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
