England will hope to produce another positive showing at Wembley on Sunday, as they host Belgium in the Nations League.

These sides are the top two in the group at present, both unbeaten, though that could all change given the expanded nature of the competition’s groups this time around.

Rotation of players from midweek friendlies is likely, where England saw off Wales 3-0 and Belgium drew 1-1 with Ivory Coast.

Star names including Harry Kane, Marcus Rashford, Kevin de Bruyne and Axel Witsel are all likely to return to their respective starting line-ups here.

What is the team news?

England will have Jadon Sancho, Ben Chilwell and Tammy Abraham available again after they were forced to miss the Wales friendly having attended a party last week.

The Three Lions have no injury worries after the win over Wales, though Raheem Sterling withdrew from the squad last week.

Belgium fully rotated their side for the match against Ivory Coast and so are likely to revert to full-strength line-up for this fixture, with the exceptions of Thibaut Courtois and Dries Mertens, who have withdrawn from the squad.

Predicted line-ups

ENG: Pickford; Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Maguire, Chilwell; Rice, Henderson, Winks; Sancho, Kane, Rashford.

BEL: Mignolet; Denayer, Alderweireld, Vertonghen; Meunier, Witsel, Tielemans, Castagne; De Bruyne, Lukaku, Hazard.

Odds

England - 9/5

Draw - 27/11

Belgium - 133/67

Prediction

The big question for the home side will be over whether they can find the pace and movement in attack they need to thrive, with recent games having seen a slow build-up and lack of supporting runners after a change of shape. Belgium’s stars should be all back in place and they’ll be confident about continuing their winning start to the group. England 1-2 Belgium.
