Liverpool has as many as 10 players involved with Euro 2024. Dominik Szoboszlai, Andy Robertson, Cody Gakpo, Ryan Gravenberch, Virgil van Dijk, Diogo Jota, Ibrahima Konaté, Vitezslav Jaros and English pair Joe Gomez and Trent Alexander-Arnold will be all featuring throughout the competition to one extent or the other.

Szoboszlai, Gakpo and Van Dijk have all played in the competition in its opening days, while Gravenberch was an unused sub for the Netherlands in its 2-1 win against Poland.

England kick off its Euro 2024 on Sunday night against Serbia in Gelsenkirchen, and both Gomez and Alexander-Arnold could both feature for The Three Lions. Alexander-Arnold is slated to start for Gareth Southgate's side in midfield.

The Liverpool pair could be under the scrutiny of Manchester United coach Erik ten Hag. Ten Hag has been confirmed to continue as United manager ahead of next season following intense speculation that he would be sacked after a season in which The Red Devils won the FA Cup but finished eighth in the Premier League.

Not having to job hunt this summer, the Dutchman will appear on Netherlands broadcaster NOS as part of the broadcaster's coverage of England vs Serbia in Euro 2024. The United boss will be a guest, alongside Dutch legend Marco van Basten and Yannick van de Velde, on Studio Voetbal.

Ten Hag will no doubt have a word or two to say about Alexander-Arnold, especially with the Liverpool star being utilised in midfield, a role many have been arguing for him to be used in for months.

Ten Hag joined United from Ajax two years ago, but has struggled to replicate what he achieved at the Dutch side in the Premier League. United appeared to be intent on replacing Ten Hag, going so far as to hold talks with Thomas Tuchel after his own sacking from Bayern Munich, according to The Mirror. Yet the lack of options made Sir Jim Ratcliffe and the United hierarchy stop their search and confirm Ten Hag for another season.

His contract is set to expire next summer with United, but the club have the option to extend for a further season.

Liverpool.com says: It'll be interesting to see if Ten Hag makes any comments on Alexander-Arnold and his new role for England. There's little doubt that any comments he makes on Dutch TV will be translated later and shared to Reds' fans.
