Estevao Willian has described signing for Chelsea as being a dream after the club made his agreement to join official. The 17-year-old will not join until next summer when he turns 18, but the announcement of a deal being finalised still raises excitement.

Estevao is one of the best-rated young players in Brazil and is a standout in an already stacked young team. Alongside Endrick and Vitor Roque, who have already completed moves to Real Madrid and Barcelona respectively, Estevao is deemed one of the most promising teenagers on the planet.

With 23 senior appearances for Palmeiras and a smattering of goals and assists, Estevao is the latest in a growing line of youngsters to be snapped up under the Todd Boehly-Clearlake Capital ownership. The Blues have also completed the transfers of Angelo Gabriel, Andrey Santos, and Deivid Washington (all Brazilian).

Ecuador youth prospect Kendry Paez will also join next summer. Estevao is seen as the cream of the crop though due to his early development, and has drawn comparisons to both Neymar and Lionel Messi.

Upon Chelsea's reveal of Estevao, he took to Instagram to make his feelings obvious. In a message (translated) he wrote: "Thank you lord [prayer hands emoji] One more dream come true. @chelseafc [shaking hands and blue heart emojis]".

Estevao is the second transfer confirmed by Chelsea and is expected to join on a long-term deal that will likely keep him at the club until past 2030. Tosin Adarabioyo was the first deal completed as he agreed to move at the end of his contract with Fulham.

Chelsea are closing in on making it three transfers within two weeks of the summer window opening as they entered advanced talks with Aston Villa over a deal for attacker Omari Kellyman. Ian Maatsen is expected to go the other way for around £37million in a separate transaction.
