Zlatan Ibrahimovic has warned Manchester United’s Europa League opponents there is more to come from the Red Devils after their victory over Zorya Luhansk

Ibrahimovic made the breakthrough in the second half after a less than convincing performance against the Ukrainian side.

Not for the first time this season, the big Swedish striker showed his aerial prowess to power home a header to get United off the mark in Group A.

He told BT Sport: “It was not an easy game. We played well but this was a difficult game. If you don’t score early the spaces get smaller.

“It was a decent game and we needed this after the defeat in Rotterdam. If you want to go through you need to win the game.

“I think we could do much more and I expect more from the team. We won and this is good for the confidence. If we step it up more we will do well.

“We play as a team and create as a team. The important thing is that you create the chances and when they come you need to be focused.”

The result leaves United third in the standings after two games, level on points with Feyenoord and a point behind early pace setters Fenerbahçe.
