Everton v Norwich: match preview
Daniel Farke’s struggling side appear the perfect antidote to a difficult week for Rafael Benítez, who suffered the first defeat of his Everton reign at Aston Villa followed by a Carabao Cup exit at QPR in midweek. The question is whether he has the resources, and his players the energy, to capitalise on Norwich’s insecurities following five successive Premier League defeats. The hosts are without six senior players, including their first-choice strikers, and therefore reliant on Salomón Rondón while he strives for match fitness plus others who are in need of a rest according to Benítez.
