Miami Grand Prix 2023: Start time today and how to watch on TV
Sergio Perez gave his championship hopes a boost by taking pole position for Sunday's Miami Grand Prix.
A red flag caused by a Charles Leclerc crash late in the session means that championship leader Max Verstappen will start ninth. The Dutchman was fastest in the second part of qualifying but failed to set a lap time after a mistake on his first run in Q2.
Fernando Alonso starts second, Carlos Sainz third and Kevin Magnussen fourth. The Mercedes cars of Lewis Hamilton and George Russell start 13th and sixth respectively.
