Fishguard and Goodwick rings in the lawn bowls season

Fishguard and Goodwick opened the outdoor bowls season this past weekend.

On Saturday, April 20, the mayor of Fishguard and Goodwick, Councillor Sharon McCarney, alongside the deputy mayor, Councillor Billy Shaw, opened the 2024 lawn bowls season at Fishguard and Goodwick Bowls Club.

They did so with the mayor opening the proceedings before bowling the first bowl.

Club president Richard Thomas observed and both dignitaries watched the club's first game.
