Arsenal are facing an investigation after a section of fans ripped up part of White Hart Lane after their League Cup win over North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

Arsenal are facing an investigation after a section of fans ripped up part of White Hart Lane after their League Cup win over North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

After the full-time whistle, a section of Arsenal fans began ripping up the banners attached to the upper tier of the stadium, forcing police and steward to intervene.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed that 10 arrests were made relating to criminal damage, assault and public disorder offences.

Arsenal have insisted they will work with Spurs and co-operate with the FA's investgation.
