Former Ipswich Town full-back Myles Kenlock has joined National League side Barnet on a three-year deal.

The 27-year-old moves to the Bess having spent most of last season at fellow fifth tier side Ebbsfleet United, who offered him a new contract but he decided to move to the Hive instead.

Kenlock was a key figure for the Kent side as they survived relegation and his form earned him a call-up to the England C side, winning his first cap in a defeat to Wales C in March.

He now joins Dean Brennan's side, who finished second in the table in 2023/24 but were beaten 4-0 by Solihull Moors in the play-off semi-finals.

On signing for his new club, he said: “The ambition for the upcoming season is playing as many minutes as possible and helping the team to promotion.

"The style of play under the gaffer is exciting. It really plays to my strengths and it will be a pleasure to add whatever quality I have to the team.”

He was released by the Blues in the summer of 2022, having spent time on loan at Colchester United. He made over 100 appearances for Town after joining the youth set-up from the London-based Kinetic Academy.

Since he left Portman Road, Kenlock has had short spells at Barrow and Aldershot Town, prior to his move to Ebbsfleet in October last year.

Kenlock will link-up with released Town keeper Nick Hayes at Barnet, after he moved to the Hive earlier this summer, following a successful loan spell at Solihull Moors.

Elsewhere, former Town forward Darren McQueen has also left Ebbsfleet to join newly promoted National League South side Hornchurch.

McQueen made just one senior cup appearance for Town during his sole season at the club.
