Former Ipswich Town loanee Richard Stearman has left Solihull Moors after his contract expired at the National League side.

The 36-year-old defender joined the Moors to drop into non-league football for the first time in his career after he was released by Derby County last summer.

Stearman made 27 appearances for the West Midlands side, who were beaten by Bromley on penalties in the play-off final.

He played alongside current Town keeper Nick Hayes, who spent the second half of the 2023/24 season at the ARMCO Arena.

However, Stearman hasn't played for Andy Whing's side since March, having been sent-off in the 1-1 draw with Aldershot Town. He is among the ten players released by the Moors.
