Former UFC Fighter Jason Miller Arrested for Assault with a Deadly Weapon
Having had frequent run-ins with the police in the past, UFC veteran Jason “Mayhem” Miller on Friday again found himself in legal trouble, getting tased and arrested at his home in Southern California.
The Orange County Sheriff's Department was called to Miller's home early Friday morning to handle a call about a disturbance, according to a report by TMZ Sports. When officers arrived, they heard a female screaming, and found Miller aggressive and uncooperative.

Miller reportedly threw a ceramic tile at the officers and threatened to attack them with a fire extinguisher and metal pole. The encounter lasted eight minutes before officers hit Miller with a taser and subdued him.
A press release from the Orange County Sheriff's Department said:
“At approximately 1:34 a.m., Sheriff's deputies responded to Miller's residence… for an anonymous report of a disturbance. Deputies arrived and heard sounds of a female screaming coming from inside the house. As deputies entered the side yard of the residence, they were immediately confronted by Miller, who was aggressive and yelling. Miller threw a ceramic tile at deputies and threatened them with a large fire extinguisher and metal pole as he retreated towards the backyard. Deputies gave Miller numerous directives, which he continually ignored.
“Deputies deployed an electronic control device (‘Taser') and after an approximately eight-minute struggle, handcuffed Miller and took him into custody. Miller was treated and evaluated by Orange County Fire Authority paramedics, as is protocol following deployment of the ‘Taser' device.
“Subsequent investigation determined an altercation had occurred between Miller and two females inside the house. Both females were interviewed and uncooperative with the investigation.
Miller was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon on a peace officer. He was booked into Orange County Jail and is being held on $50,000 bail.”
Miller is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, Oct. 19.
This isn't the first time Miller has run afoul of the law. He's been in and out of jail much of his adult life. His most famous encounter occurred a year ago, when he engaged in a standoff with a SWAT team at his home.
