Scott Parker says his Fulham side are finally on the right track as they look to climb out of the relegation zone when they face Brighton tonight.

The west Londoners took one point from their first six games on their return to the Premier League, but have turned a corner in recent weeks with a win at Leicester City and a draw against champions Liverpool last Sunday.

Victory tonight would see Fulham climb to 16th and firmly away from the bottom three.

"I like where we are at the moment, I like the way we're going. We need to keep on that track and put in a very good performance," said Parker, who has last season's top scorer Aleksandar Mitrovic available once again this evening after recovering from an ankle injury.

"I think over the last six, seven or eight games - this is a young squad - and I feel like we're developing in the right way.

"Everyone's pre-season was short but ours more than most because of Wembley. Trying to develop the new ideas, put your stamp on these new players and them understanding what I expect from them and what we want from the team.

"I've seen that gradual progression and I've seen the team moving in the right direction."
