Full Liverpool squad vs Aston Villa as Andy Robertson concern emerges with five ruled out

Liverpool are hearing up for their return to Premier League action tonight when they face Aston Villa.

The Reds travel to the West Midlands to take on Villa in what will be Jurgen Klopp's penultimate match as Liverpool manager. Klopp has just two more fixtures as Reds boss before he departs at the end of the campaign.

Monday's game will see Liverpool go into the contest in third place in the Premier League table. After the weekend's results, it's no longer possible for the Reds to win the league title, with Champions League qualification already secure.

Despite the outcome of the season being almost completely decided, Liverpool will be determined to get all three points against Villa. However, Klopp will be forced to deal with some injury concerns for the fixture.

Diogo Jota, Joel Matip, Thiago Alcantara, Ben Doak and Bobby Clark are all on the sidelines through injury. There are also concerns about Andy Robertson's fitness going into the clash against Villa.

Robertson was absent from training on Friday to spark concerns that he could have a fitness concern. However, Klopp did not offer an update on Robertson's fitness, with the left-back spotted at the AXA Training Centre wearing Liverpool training gear and taking part in pre-match media duties.

Klopp will hope to have Robertson available to feature against Villa. If the Scotland captain is not available, Liverpool will start either Kostas Tsimikas or Joe Gomez at left-back.
