Gameweek 21's user Team of the Week

Congratulations to Mike J, who had Gameweek 21’s best return of the week.

His £1 entry into Saturday’s competition won him £30 with his team who won a whopping 142.60 points.

Mike went with the tried and true tactic of picking strong players from the big guns – and it paid off handsomely. 8 of his 11 players came from Arsenal or Chelsea, with only West Ham duo Andy Carroll and Michail Antonio and Bournemouth’s Junior Stanislas (he clearly listened to the General’s budget tips).

Arsenal players were popular choices in Gameweek 21 and they repaid the faith with a 4-0 win at Swansea. Petr Cech, Nacho Monreal and Olivier Giroud (despite getting injured) all scored double figures, while Shkodran Mustafi scored a solid 8.75 at the back. Mesut Ozil marked his first match in a couple of Gameweeks with a solid 5.1.

The undoubted star of the round came from London rivals Chelsea – and remarkably it was a defender. Marcos Alonso has been a Fantasy favourite this season but his score of 31.25 was phenomenal, even the top attackers would be proud of that return!
