Gary Neville’s feud with Harry Redknapp is rumbling on and showing no signs of slowing down.

The bickering between the former Manchester United defender and ex-Tottenham boss has been heating up for a while now, ever since Neville suggested that Spurs were consistently poor since before current boss Mauricio Pochettino turned up.

Redknapp then hit back by scoffing at Neville’s own managerial career – a less than impressive spell at Valencia, before he returned to his role as a pundit at Sky Sports.

In response to that, Neville dug up some managerial stats which compared that Valencia reign with Redknapp’s stints at boss at both QPR and Birmingham.

And unsurprisingly, that didn’t go down well the 71-year-old, he told Talksport: “Now he’s got to dig up that his win percentage was one per cent better than mine at QPR.

“I took over a QPR team that had already played 14 games in the Premier League and they had two wins, so it wasn’t exactly taking over a world class team, you know?

“And at Birmingham I took over a team that had gone 25 games and only won one, that wasn’t easy.”

Naturally, Neville had a comeback ready and shared this image of the shirt he wished he could have worn on Monday Night Football last night:

The 43-year-old shared the image of the top which said: “If I offended you, my work here is done”, along with the caption “New Sky Sports MNF uniform. Shame I’m not on tonight to wear it!”

Neville had the night off last night, with ex-Man United midfielder Darren Fletcher taking his spot opposite Jamie Carragher.
