Gordon Strachan reveals he 'wouldn't mind' England winning Euro 2024 and the one reason why

Gordon Strachan has admitted he wouldn't mind seeing England win Euro 2024 - but only because he wants to see Harry Kane end his trophy drought.

The Three Lions' skipper's lack of major trophies, at both club and international level, is well known and fun has been poked at him over Bayern Munich ending their 11-year stretch of dominating the Bundesliga immediately after he quit Tottenham to sign for them in search of the silverware that had eluded him.

Strachan, though, doesn't see the funny side and would love to see the 30-year-old getting his hands on the trophy. That's why he's willing to go against the grain as a Scot who isn't willing the English to fail this summer, and a former Scotland manager at that.

However, he does admit that would only be the case if we don't reach the final ourselves - and says he might even have to move to Shetland if it does happen.

Strachan told Fastestpayoutonlinecasino.com: “I want Harry Kane to win something significant. If we don't get to the final, then I wouldn't mind them winning it. My problem is I live in England and English people are unbearable at the best of times.

"But if they win this then I'm moving to Shetland because it would be extra unbearable. I would be happy for Harry Kane and maybe Phil Foden, because wherever I go, if I see them live or on TV, they make it a great experience for me. So I have absolutely no problem if those two win it.”
