Gore scores 20 and Bluefield beats Charleston Catholic 53-48

Feb. 6—CHARLESTON — Kamron Gore scored 20 points and the Bluefield boys basketball team picked up a 53-48 win at Charleston Catholic, on Monday night.

Gore also collected seven rebounds for the Beavers (10-3), who split with Woodrow Wilson on a Friday-Saturday home and away turnaround, which included Saturday's win in the Lil Tony Classic at Brushfork Armory.

RJ Hairston collected what is becoming his customary double double, scoring 14 points while pulling down 11 rebounds. Glen Keene scored 10 points for Bluefield.

Jayallen Turner scored 18 points for Charleston Catholic, with Zaden Ranson scoring 14.
