Graham travels to Gretna, other hoops action tonight

Feb. 27—The Graham boys basketball team travels to Gretna, Va. today to face the Hawks in the VHSL Class 2 state tournament quarterfinals. Gretna (16-9) defeated Martinsville 41-33 in last week's Region 2C tournament championship game.

The Bulldogs (17-9) will travel to Virginia High (21-5), which defeated the G-Men in the Region 2D title game, on Saturday.

In other boys basketball action of local interest, Bluefield (17-5) will host Wyoming East (16-6) at Brushfork Armory in the Class AA, Region III, Section 1 championship game at Brushfork Armory.

In girls co-regional action tonight, River View (16-8) travels to Greenbrier West (14-8) for a Class A, Region III co-championship game. Elsewhere, James Monroe (15-8) will host Meadow Bridge (13-10) in the other Region III co-championship game at James Monroe High School, in Lindside.
