Olympic gold medallist Greg Rutherford: I'm not ashamed of my 'dad bod'
Greg Rutherford has said he does not care if he has a ‘dad bod’.
The 2012 Olympic long jump gold medallist posted a snap of himself on the beach on Instagram, as he prepares to swim the channel for charity.

A day after posting his first picture at the beach, he added a second telling his followers he wasn’t ashamed of his dad bod - and added he loves cake and beer.

His post read: “Another dip in the great blue. I’m using the time I have to experience and develop skills in order to swim the Channel to the best of my ability.
“Four weeks ago I couldn’t swim at all. Now I’m prepping for one of the most epic challenges for Stand Up To Cancer UK.
“I was also called out for having dad bod yesterday as if that’s something to be ashamed of.”
The 32-year-old rose to fame on ‘Super Saturday’ at the 2012 London Olympics, winning an athletics gold alongside Dame Jessica-Ennis Hill and Sir Mo Farah.
“I very much realise I'm not in the shape I was as a professional athlete. I’m fine with that, I love cake and beer...”
Rutherford will be attempting to swim the English channel on Sink Or Swim, which will be screened on Channel 4.
