French youngster Magaye Gueye is remaining patient as he awaits opportunities to impress for Everton.
The 21-year-old has been on the fringes of David Moyes' side, although his progress since signing from Strasbourg in summer 2010 has been hindered by injuries. This season Gueye has been on the bench for just one Barclays Premier League game and featured only in the Carling Cup.
Gueye told the club's website, www.evertonfc.com: "It was great to be back on the bench for the Villa game and I might have to be patient and be on the bench for a few weeks as I try and win a place in the team. I am waiting for my chance, I am working hard every single day and trying to impress the boss and making sure I am ready for when he needs me."
