For an LA-dwelling, global social media sensation - followed every step by 32m Instagram fans and a hoard of paps - you'd be forgiven for thinking that Hailey Bieber would have a suitably Hollywood beauty regime, featuring more pricey products and exotic treatments than you could throw a muslin cloth at. But the 24-year-old model and bareMinerals ambassador spoke on this week's Going For Goal podcast and told us that she cares for her skin in refreshingly down-to-earth fashion.

In the latest episode, Hailey takes us step-by-step through her exact daytime and nighttime routine that she enlists to maintain her trademark glowy complexion. 'I’m pretty consistent,' she reveals to WH's editor-in-chief Claire Sanderson, before going on to explain that she begins with a double cleanse - first with an oil-based cleanser, and then a gentle foaming one. Next, she'll opt for a serum or two.

Finally, the Vogue cover star finishes off with a moisturiser. She has been 'loving', in particular, bareMineral's Ageless Phyto-Retinol Face Cream [available in Boots from March 10th]. 'I’m not a huge believer in retinol - it’s very irritating for the skin,' she says. Indeed, Hailey is already thinking ahead when it comes to protecting her skin. The star notes that, in the morning, there's an additional step she never, ever skips. 'I always wear SPF every single day,' she says. 'I think if I had understood even younger [than I did] that [it] was so important, I probably would have done it sooner. But I think I’ll be happy that I even started in my 20s.'

However, Hailey also alludes to having bad skin days, just like the rest of us - namely, acne and dryness. 'I’m a big believer in keeping the skin nourished and moisturised. And she tweaks things up if necessary. 'I also pay close attention to when my skin might be going through different phases,' she says. 'Like if the weather is a bit cold or when it’s summertime and I’m sweating, I might switch up a few things in my routine.'
