Hamza Igamane will become Rangers' fifth summer signing after agreeing a move to Ibrox.

It was revealed last week that the Light Blues had launched a £1.5million bid for the highly-rated Morocco Under-23 sensation. Igamane - who is expected to land his first senior call-up later this year - has emerged as one of the hottest prospects in North Africa and made 13 contributions in 23 appearances for FAR Rabat last season.

Now, the Rangers Review reports that the 21-year-old striker is posied to put pen to paper on a deal before Philippe Clement's side return for pre-season training on Monday. Igamane - who can also play as a winger - will add more strength and depth up front as Clement seeks to add more goals to his team.

It comes after Connor Barron was officially unveiled as a Rangers player after joining fellow new boys Jefte, Oscar Cortes and Clinton Nsiala. The midfielder has penned a four-year deal after leaving Aberdeen at the end of the season but Gers have still to negotiate a compensation fee for the Pittodrie academy graduate.

The Dons would have been due a £525,000 training compensation fee had Barron moved to a club outside of the SPFL and will demand a similar package from their Premiership rivals.
