Rangers-bound striker Hamza Igamane has bid an emotional farewell to AS Far Rabat as he prepares to seal his move to Ibrox.

The Moroccan starlet, 21, will be unveiled as Philippe Clement's sixth summer signing this week after being given the all-clear to complete his £2million transfer. Igamane has already thrashed out personal terms with Gers and has also been granted a work permit.

Igamane will link up with his new teammates shortly but the talented youngster has expressed his sincere gratitude to his beloved AS Far Rabat for their part in his rise to stardom. He posted on Instagram: "My success comes only through Allah. In Him I trust and Him I turn. After an incredible journey with ASFAR, which has shaped me into who I am today, it's time to bid farewell and embark a new challenge. I've had the honour of achieving two titles with the club I deeply love.

"I'm forever grateful to the committee represented by President Mohamed Haramou, and Vice President Al-Ayoubi, to all the Askaries, team-mates, coaches, staff, and everyone who has influenced my career in any way. The leader will always hold a special place in my heart. Thank you for everything."

The Morocco Under-23 star will join fellow new boys Jefte, Oscar Cortes, Clinton Nsiala, Connor Barron and Liam Kelly at Rangers.
