Mikey Harris has seen how his Albion players can hit the net in training.

Now he wants to see them out that into practice on a more regular basis in the WSL.

Albion go to Tottenham today aiming to add to their collection of away wins and put right a few things which did not work out on their big night at the Amex.

They had plenty of the game in the 2-1 defeat to Everton and Harris says, on review, he has seen plenty to encourage him.

The interim head coach told The Argus: “We speak about wanting to dominate the ball and we had more possession on the night.

“We speak about wanting to create more chances than the opposition. We created 15, they had four on the night.

“We had a higher xG on the night, which is something we look at.

“There were plenty of positive signs.

“Obviously the big moments didn’t go our way and that is what happens.

“If you make mistakes, you get punished.

“That’s something we have just got to keep striving to work on as a group and to keep getting better individually and collectively.

“That is something we are doing every day.

“The players, with the way they apply themselves on the pitch in training, at the team meetings, in the individual meetings we are doing, they are really buying in.

“They are really committed and I have no doubt we will keep moving forward as group.”

Albion’s xG was 1.73 to Everton’s 0.92 at the Amex.

The one effort which hit the net saw Portugal midfielder Tatiana Pinto show a goal-getter’s instinct as she responded quickest to smash home the rebound after Maisie Symonds hit the bar from a free-kick.

Elisabeth Terland remains top scorer but Harris says others can chip in, in similar style to how Pinto netted against Everton.

He said: “I think we have got goals throughout the team.

“I know earlier in the season it seemed to fall on Teri to be the goalscorer.

“But I think you have seen over the past few weeks we have had different goalscorers in different games.

“Clearly that has dropped off a bit over the last couple of games, which is frustrating from our perspective.

“I see what the players are capable of in training and we just need that to fall into place in a game and then I have no doubt that their confidence will build and we will be able to create and score more goals.”

Vicky Losada is set to return having missed the Everton game due to suspension.
