Hartwell scores 48 points for G-MU on Senior Night

Jan. 11—Devon Hartwell put up one of the greatest performances in the history of Gilbertsville-Mount Upton basketball in Thursday's Senior Night game, scoring 48 points in the Raiders' 75-51 win over Sharon Springs.

Hartwell's 48 points and 10 made three-pointers are both believed to be program records.

Mike Cashman had a big game of his own for Sharon Springs, leading the team with 34 points.

G-MU is off until next Friday when it hosts Worcester while Sharon Springs will visit Loudonville Christian Friday.

Norwich 57, Oneonta 54

The Oneonta boys dropped a back-and-forth contest 57-54 to Norwich at home Thursday.

Brady Carr led the Yellowjackets with 22 points while Britten Zeh (16) and Makya Morrison (10) also finished in double figures.

Oneonta will visit Windsor Friday.

Edmeston 65, Schenevus 57

Edmeston held off Schenevus 65-57 at home Thursday in Tri-Valley League action.

Leading the Panthers in the win was Braymon Clark with 15 points. Gunner Schoellig and Preston Graham added eight points apiece.

Jackson Reed scored a game-high 22 points for Schenevus while Ethan Reed finished with 12.

Edmeston will be at Marathon next Wednesday while Schenevus will visit Sharon Springs the same day.

Morris 86, Worcester 44

Morris rolled to an 86-44 road win over Worcester Thursday.

Tiger Ross paced the Mustangs with 22 points while Asa Dugan scored 17 and Ryan Murphy and Carter Sawyer had 15 apiece.

Derek Land led the Wolverines with 12 points while Tyler Head scored 10.

South Kortright 71, Roxbury 41 (Wednesday)

Connor Quarino's huge performance helped South Kortright take down Roxbury 71-41 in Wednesday's Delaware League contest.

Quarino scored 40 points in the win for SK while Boston Quarino pitched in nine points.

Mason Hamil and Taran Davis led the Rockets with 10 and 9 points, respectively.

South Kortright will be at Hunter-Tannersville Friday.
