Hartwick women top Keuka; Oneonta falls to Brockport in OT

Feb. 5—The Hartwick women's basketball team took down Keuka for a 65-49 win on the team's Senior Night Saturday.

Bree Fargnoli was the Hawks' top scorer, finishing with 17 points as well as seven assists.

Elsewhere, Isabella Asotrino and Sareena DiCerbo each had double-doubles, with Astorino notching 15 points, 15 rebounds and five assists and DiCerbo registering 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Hartwick (9-12 overall, 6-6 Empire 8) will host Russell Sage Tuesday.

SUNY Brockport 79, SUNY Oneonta 75 OT (Saturday)

The SUNY Oneonta women were unable to hold off a second-half rally by SUNY Brockport Saturday as the Red Dragons fell 79-75 in overtime.

Molly Stephens had a strong all-around game for Oneonta, finishing with 22 points, eight rebounds and five assists.

Emma Schwarzbeck scored 19 points to go with six rebounds and four assists and Amanda Zuntag added 13 points and nine boards.

Oneonta (9-12 overall, 7-7 SUNYAC) will be at Fredonia Tuesday.

MEN'S BASKETBALL

SUNY Delhi 83, Pratt 70 (Sunday)

The SUNY Delhi men split a pair of games over the weekend, defeating Pratt 83-70 Sunday and falling to Eastern Nazarene 78-72 Saturday.

Against Pratt, Pablo Quinones led the way with 19 points and eight rebounds while Lester McCarthy scored 14 points, Fauzi Cizmesija-Ulmer had 11 and Neftali Soler scored 10.

McCarthy was the top scorer in the loss to Eastern Nazarene, finishing with 17 points.

Isiah Barnes notched 12 points and seven rebounds, Louis Gustarling had 12 points and Noah Colin had 10 points and five assists.

The Broncos (12-11) will be at SUNY Cobleskill Friday.

SUNY Brockport 94, SUNY Oneonta 81 (Saturday)

SUNY Oneonta dropped a 94-81 decision at home to SUNY Brockport Saturday.

Xavier Hill posted a double-double in the loss, finishing with 24 points and 12 rebounds.

Elijah Castillo notched 18 points while Delano Knox registered 14 points, seven rebounds and five assists.

The Red Dragons (10-11 overall, 7-7 SUNYAC) will travel to Fredonia Tuesday.

Hartwick was unable to keep up with Keuka's high-scoring offense in Saturday's 97-72 home loss.

Daniel Oyediran scored a team-high 15 points, Henry Perkins had a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds and Kevin Felasco added 11 points.

The Hawks (1-18 overall, 0-12 Empire 8) will face Russell Sage at home Tuesday.

WRESTLING

The SUNY Oneonta wrestling team was in action Saturday at the Ithaca Quad Meet, dropping matches to Ithaca 37-15, Williams 29-18 and Wesleyan 29-20.

Carson LiCastri (197 pounds) and Cameron Hinchliff (125) each went 3-0 in their respective classes.

Danny Poggi (133) and Jhordyn Innocent (heavyweight) won a pair of matches apiece.

Oneonta will be at Oswego State Wednesday for a dual meet.
