Haydock and Ripon Tips: Chorus to hit the right tune at Ripon

Haydock 14:40 – Seyaady – 13/8 – 2pts
Pipped on the line on his debut over the same trip as today, he will be better off for that run and should be able to beat this field to land his first victory.

Ripon 15:00 – Sands Chorus – 3/1 – 2pts
The price for Sand Chorus looks pretty tasty today, the horse is a course and distance winner, plus has shown a decent form in the past in these conditions. Jockey Kevin Stott got the fractions wrong last time out at Chester so Paul Mulrennan is back on board today and the partnership look to have a great chance today.

Ripon 15:30 – Kharbetation – 10/3 – 1pt
The David O’Meara-trained horse put in an eye-catching performance when winning first-time out on his racecourse debut 313 days ago at Thirsk. He looks an exciting sort that connections should have some fun with this season and his pedigree suggests today’s conditions will suit.

Haydock 15:40 – Rantan – 5/2 – 2pts
Rantan will love the ground today at Haydock as he’s won on soft ground before and has finished second on three other occasion at the back-end of last season in similar conditions. He’s got a good draw, and also has the in-form jockey Silvestre De Sousa on board.

Bangor 15:50 – Iora Glass 7/4 – 1pt
A winner over hurdles in April against much better competition than he faces today, he shouldn’t find it too difficult to land another win today. He didn’t fair too well over fences first-time round, but the hope is he makes a better fist of it this time round.
