Hearts pre-season schedule 2024: Friendlies, fixture dates and TV details

Steven Naismith guided Hearts to third spot in last season's Premiership and now has European football to look forward to.

The Europa League playoff ties are on their way towards the end of August with the new league campaign also on the horizon and the Jambos will look to start strong. To do that, they'll need a rigorous and shattering pre-season in a bid to boost their early fitness levels and have the squad raring to go when the first competitive outing comes around.

Supporters won't have too long to wait for their heroes to be back on the pitch, though, and their summer break won't last too much longer. Football Scotland has taken a look at the club's pre-season schedule and what's been announced already.

What pre-season fixtures have been confirmed?

Saturday July 13: Hearts vs Leyton Orient - 3pm kick-off (Tynecastle)

Wednesday July 17: Hearts vs Tottenham Hotspur - 7pm kick-off (Tynecastle)

Saturday July 27: Fleetwood Town vs Hearts - 3pm kick-off (Highbury Stadium)

Will Hearts' pre-season matches be on TV?

Details have yet to be made available for the games against the Os and Fleetwood but Spursplay will broadcast the game vs Ange Postecoglou's Spurs. It's not yet known whether that will be free to view.
