1. François Kamano’s bullet

There were some crackers in Ligue 1 this week, but Francois Kamano’s rocket to give Bordeaux the lead against Guingamp might be the best.

The ball is perfectly played in the top corner, hitting the bar and bouncing into the net, leaving the stopper with no chance.

2. Bernardoni steps up

It was not just stunning goals in France this week, the men between the sticks performed too.

Nimes stopper Paul Bernardoni produced this wonderful one-handed save as they secured a 1-1 draw at Monaco.

3. Di Maria inspires PSG comeback

After losing to Liverpool in the week, PSG were 1-0 down to State Rennais shortly before half-time and Thomas Tuchel was facing a mini-crisis.

Up stepped Angel Di Maria with a thunderous strike from the edge of the area, after a cheeky dummy by Adrien Rabiot.

4. How has he missed that?

Hoffenheim’s draw with Borussia Dortmund was already frustrating, given the fact Dortmund’s equaliser came with five minutes to go and ten minutes after they were reduced to 10 men.

But Ishak Belfodil’s terrible miss late in injury-time only rubbed further salt into their wounds.

5. A bonus miss

OK, it’s not actually European football, but it is too good not to show.

Chongqing Dangdai Lifan take the lead against Guangzhou R and F with the most bizarre own goal, which leaves the manager kicking thin air.
