Day 10 begins in brilliant conditions with the temperature under 19C and only expected to hit 23C later in the day. Both players are making their Australian Open quarter-final debuts and the reward for victory will be a semi-final against either world number two Serena Williams or British ninth seed Johanna Konta, who play immediately afterwards.
