Hollyoaks to air emotional Juliet and Peri scenes in death story

Hollyoaks spoilers follow.

Hollyoaks is set to air emotional scenes for Juliet and Peri in the ongoing cancer story.

Viewers know that Juliet only has a short time left to live after she was diagnosed with terminal lymphoma, so they have been trying to make the most of every moment together.

In upcoming scenes, Juliet's brother Romeo accidentally looks at her Bucket List and realises all his sibling really cares about is spending time with her loved ones before she passes away.

Romeo and girlfriend Rayne later get an idea of how to cheer up Juliet when they find out that Damon will be throwing a movie night fundraiser for cancer charities at the Love Boat.

With Romeo determined to give his sister the perfect night, he manages to convince Damon to show Juliet's favourite film. However, the night gets off to a rough start when Zara accidentally spills a drink on the projector.

Juliet is just happy to have her loved ones all together, so she shares heartwarming stories from childhood about the ways Romeo used to protect her. Romeo has a chat with Donna-Marie about making every day special for Juliet.

Unfortunately, Juliet's health takes another turn for the worse, but she refuses to use the wheelchair that Romeo and Peri bring for her. Eventually, Juliet has to admit to her family that the painkillers have stopped working.

Juliet has a scare of her own when she walks in on Donna-Marie holding two viles of morphine, not aware that her mum had been looking through old family keepsakes.

At the same time, Romeo confides in Peri that he's struggling with the fact that Juliet is steadily getting worse. Peri reminds Romeo that they can support each other though this difficult time.

The Nightingales cook up a special day for Juliet at The Folly, though James questions whether it's the best thing for Juliet as she's growing so weak.

Peri convinces Donna-Marie and Romeo to help her decorate The Folly with pictures to celebrate the couple's love story, leading to a poignant scene where James asks nurse Peri how long she thinks Juliet may have left.

The emotional moments continue when Peri reads what she'd always hoped would be her wedding vows to Juliet — and Juliet musters all her strength to share one final dance with her partner.
