Hot Football Transfer Gossip: Ronaldo, Ramos, Kroos, Isco, Pogba, Neuer

Rearrange these four words to create the sentence that will make Ed Woodward even more excited than that time he saw Little Mix live at Manchester Arena. Madrid Real Clearout Summer.

That’s right, Manchester United’s transfer guru has been crossing fingers and rubbing genies and wishing upon stars and finally his wildest dream has come true: Real Madrid are having a summer clearout.

That’s according to the Sun, which reports that 10 Madrid stars are to be thrown onto the “Bernabeu scrapheap” - and we’ll name them all. Sergio Ramos, Toni Kroos, Isco, James Rodriguez, Alvaro Arbeloa, Casemiro, Danilo, Jese and, last but not least, Cristiano Ronaldo.

Actually that’s only nine players - the Sun’s resident mathematician must have had a day off today. But never mind, the point is that the majority of these players United have tried to sign in the past.

And it’s not just Woodward who will be aroused by this news. The Sun adds that Chelsea, Man City and Arsenal want Isco, while City have also been linked with Kroos.

Zinedine Zidane apparently wants to use all the money he gets for selling these players to sign David De Gea, Sergio Aguero, Paul Pogba and Robert Lewandowski.

Speaking of Pogba, the Express reports that Chelsea sent scouts to watch the Frenchman in Juventus’ match against Milan on Wednesday. Really? Scouts to watch Pogba? Just to check he’s any good?

Presumably the scout came back and told Roman Abramovich that Pogba was a good player, and just to really earn his money added in his confidential dossier that “Gianluigi Buffon also looks like a decent keeper”.

Although actually, he wouldn’t have said that, because looking at the line-ups we can see that Buffon was on the bench on Wednesday. Although, hold on a minute, so was Pogba!!

So to recap, Chelsea sent scouts (yes, scouts plural, apparently) to watch Paul Pogba and they’re still none the wiser as to whether he’s any better than Pedro. Guess they’ll have to go and watch him again. We’ve also heard there’s a great player a Barcelona called Leo Messi. They should check him out too.

In another bombastic piece of Hot Football Transfer Gossip, the Mirror says that Pep Guardiola wants to replace Man City goalkeeper Joe Hart with his Bayern Munich No.1 Manuel Neuer - apparently because the Spanish boss insists on having a “sweeper-keeper”. So basically, Hart better starting practising his keepy-uppies or he’s out.

Elsewhere, Liverpool and Man Utd are interested in signing Valencia’s out-of-contract midfielder Sofiane Feghouli (Don Balon), Inter Milan will sell Mauro Icardi if they fail to qualify for the Champions League (Star) and Tottenham have been linked with a bid for Galatasaray goalkeeper Fernando Muslera (Standard).

Finally, we can present to you the most heart-warming transfer news of the season. Sunderland have decided to take the plunge and sign Emmanuel Eboue - the world’s best player - on a short-term deal until the end of the season (Sunderland Echo). Be afraid, Premier League.
