ISAAC Buckley-Ricketts is to leave Warrington Town in a sizeable blow to the club’s summer business.

Town had made their leading goalscorer from last season an offer to remain with them for the coming campaign, but the 26-year-old has rejected that offer in favour of a move to fellow National League North side Curzon Ashton.

The deal has not yet been announced, but Buckley-Ricketts can be seen in a video released today by The Nash promoting their new kits.

It means Town are to lose the man who netted 15 goals to help them remain at Step Two having also scored the dramatic injury-time winner in their Northern Premier League Premier Division play-off final against Bamber Bridge in May 2023.

In total, the former Manchester City and England under 20s forward has scored 25 times in 99 appearances since arriving at Cantilever Park in 2022.

Buckley-Ricketts would become the second player to turn down a new deal with Yellows in order to move elsewhere, with long-serving midfielder Sean Williams having opted against extending his stay with the club in favour of joining NPL West Division outfit Bootle.
