Lewis Hamilton will start the Hungarian Grand Prix from pole position after yet another dominant display in qualifying saw him beat Mercedes teammate Valtteri Bottas for the second week running.

The two championship contenders head the grid that features the two Racing Points of Lance Stroll and Sergio Perez on the second row, ahead of the two Ferraris of Sebastian Vettel and Charles Leclerc after a much-improved display following their disappointing results in Austria.

However, the two Red Bulls find themselves well down the order after a difficult weekend so far, with Max Verstappen down in seventh and Alex Albon out of position in 13th following a tough qualifying session.

The two McLarens of Lando Norris and Carlos Sainz start ahead of Pierre Gasly in the Alpha Tauri to round out the top 10, while the Williams of George Russell starts ip in 12th with teammate Nicholas Latifi in 15th after a much-improved performance from the struggling team.

The race is the third round of the rearranged 2020 season, with Bottas leading the championship by a slender six points ahead of six-time defending champion Hamilton.
